1. What types of therapy do you offer?

I work with a cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) approach which is a structured, short-term therapy that helps you identify and change negative thought patterns and behaviors to improve emotional well-being. I also apply person-centered approach which focuses on providing a supportive, non-judgmental environment, where individuals can explore their feelings and experiences, trusting in their capacity for self-growth and healing.

2. How do I know if therapy is right for me?

Therapy can be beneficial for anyone seeking personal growth, emotional support, or help with specific challenges. Whether you're dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, or simply looking for a safe space to explore your thoughts and feelings, therapy can provide valuable insights and coping strategies.

3. What should I expect during my first session?

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another to understand your concerns. We'll discuss your goals for therapy, any specific challenges you're facing and your background. It's a chance for you to ask questions and decide if the CBT approach is a good fit for you.

4. How long does each therapy session last?

Each session lasts 50 minutes. I also offer an 80-min session which provides extended time for deeper exploration when required.

5. How much does therapy cost?

The cost for a 50-min session is 1200,- CZK (online and in-person)

The cost for an 80-min session is 1800,- CZK (online and in-person)

6. What if I need to cancel or reschedule an appointment?

I understand that life can be unpredictable. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please do so at least 48 hours in advance. Late cancellations or missed appointments may incur a fee.

7. How confidential is therapy?

Confidentiality is a cornerstone of therapy. Everything you share in your sessions is kept private, with a few legal exceptions (such as cases involving harm to yourself or others). I will discuss these exceptions with you during your first session.

8. How long will I need therapy?

The length of therapy varies for each person and depends on your specific needs and goals. Some people may benefit from just a few sessions to address a particular issue, while others might engage in therapy over a longer period to work through more complex or ongoing concerns. We can discuss your goals during our initial sessions and adjust the duration as needed based on your progress and comfort level.

9. What is online therapy, and how does it work?

Online therapy allows you to receive counseling services from the comfort of your home through a secure video platform. It's a convenient option for those with busy schedules, mobility issues, or those who prefer remote sessions. The process is similar to in-person therapy and I ensure that the same level of care and confidentiality is maintained.
